Manhattan Beach has 2.1 miles of ocean frontage, and its beaches draw more than 3.8 million visitors a year. Living that close to the water is great for everything except a car. Salt air settles on cars parked outside, and sand works its way into carpets, seat rails and door jambs.
An interior detail gets the sand out of the places a gas station vacuum never reaches, and an exterior detail with wax or sealant puts a barrier between the paint and the salt. Cars parked outside in the Sand Section and El Porto, a few blocks from the beach, need it more often than cars garaged up in the Hill or Tree Section.
Ocean breezes keep Manhattan Beach summers 10 to 20 degrees cooler than inland Southern California, which helps too. Wax and sealant go on best on cool paint, out of hard midday heat.

Yes, that's what the interior detail is for. Sand hides under the seats, in the seat rails and deep in the carpet, and it takes time and the right tools to pull out. A lot of it is priced on the call.
The same as everywhere we work: an interior detail from $200, a full detail from $250, or $150 a month on the monthly plan. Large vehicles are priced on the call.
An interior or exterior detail usually takes two to four hours. A full detail takes about four to six hours, depending on the size and condition of the vehicle.

Usually, yes. Pet hair and odor treatment are add-ons priced on the call. Most fabric stains lift with shampoo and extraction, and old set-in stains sometimes lighten rather than disappear. We tell you which before we start.
For a wash, an interior detail or a full detail, yes. Those jobs don't need a building, they need time, the right supplies and attention. What you skip is the drive and the waiting room.
We come once a month on a day that suits you and do a full interior and exterior detail, for $150 a month instead of $250 each time.
