Most headlight lenses are plastic with a clear factory coating on top. Years of sun break that coating down, and the lens turns cloudy and yellow. In Southern California, where cars sit in the sun most of the year, it happens sooner than people expect.
Restoring them means removing the damaged layer and bringing the clarity back. The lenses are masked off, wet sanded, machine polished, then sealed with a UV-resistant coating so the yellowing comes back much more slowly. Cloudy headlights throw less light onto the road, so it's a safety fix as much as a looks one.
Headlight restoration is usually added to a detail, and it's priced on the call because it depends on how far gone the lenses are.

Prices are for cars and small SUVs in normal condition. Large SUVs, trucks, third-row seats and very dirty interiors are priced on the call before we start. Add-ons are priced on the call.

An interior or exterior detail usually takes two to four hours. A full detail takes about four to six hours, depending on the size and condition of the vehicle.

Usually, yes. Pet hair and odor treatment are add-ons priced on the call. Most fabric stains lift with shampoo and extraction, and old set-in stains sometimes lighten rather than disappear. We tell you which before we start.
For a wash, an interior detail or a full detail, yes. Those jobs don't need a building, they need time, the right supplies and attention. What you skip is the drive and the waiting room.
We come once a month on a day that suits you and do a full interior and exterior detail, for $150 a month instead of $250 each time.
